2001 Mount Cathedral Vineyards Merlot

Crimson brick red colour, with brick red hue. Medium Body. The nose displays a strong aroma of earth and leather with hints of farmyard and spice. The palate has good weight, with earthy farmyard flavours persisting, soft tannins, followed by an aftertaste of stewed fruit, plum and earth.
Cellar 2-3 years (2004-2005).
