Bright straw colour. Aroma of toasted oak, yeast lees and biscuit with a nuance of melon and ripe pineapple. Moderate palate length with flavours of melon and ripe pineapple again emerging. Dry with nutty background flavours of spice and hazelnut followed by cashew and biscuit. Whilst many of the ‘right’ layers are present in this wine, they seem to lack the concentration and depth.
