Very deep, crimson black heart with purple mauve hue. The nose displays notes of toasted oak, spice and plum. The tannins dominate the mouth and provide a generous smack, leaving the plum and pepper flavours well in the background. Strong tannins dominate the aftertaste.

A big dry red ! Very deep black crimson colour, with purple mauve hue. The nose displays ripe fruit notes of liquorice, spice and blackberry. The classic inky Durif note is missing. The palate has weight, but lacks complexity, with flavours of vanilla, plums and stewed fruit evident. Fine firm dry tannins followed by an aftertaste of stewed fruit, vanilla and liquorice.
