Brilliant gold colour. Scented nose with a variety of notes which layer well. Nuances of butterscotch, ripe peach, vanilla and spice, followed by cashew and biscuit end notes. On the palate, flavours of grapefruit, butterscotch and yeast lees, with hazelnut on the back palate. Moderate length, creamy texture, soft acid finish, followed by an aftertaste of yeast lees, butterscotch and hazelnut.Cellar 1-2 years (2002-2003).
