2001 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon

This is one of the best Art Series Cabernets that Leeuwin has produced in recent years. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson brick red hue. Aroma of cedar and cigar box, followed by blackcurrant and spice showing refined Cabernet lift and character. Superbly balanced palate with flavours of cedar, cigar box and spice intertwined with a layer of liquorice, blackcurrant and mocha. A sophisticated Cabernet. Excellent length and depth. Fine grained, perfectly balanced tannins. Long aftertaste of cedar, spice, mocha and white pepper.
