2001 Kaesler Stonehorse Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre

An excellent example showing rich voluptuous palate flavours. Made from a blend of 77% Grenache, 15% Shiraz and 8% Mouvedre. Bright crimson mauve colour. Medium body. The nose is pronounced with lifted raspberry spice notes over a subtle liquorice background. The palate delivers classic ripe Barossa flavours with voluptuous mouthfeel. ‘Joosy’ ripe raspberry flavours are dominant and supported by fine tannin structure and soft finish with very long raspberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
