2001 Kaesler Stonehorse Chardonnay

Kaesler is a Barossa based wine company that has managed to source some fruit from the Geelong district, however the vineyard is not acknowledged. Bright pale straw colour. The nose is impressive, with lifted notes of peach, melon, spice and butterscotch. Mouthfilling, creamy texture, with excellent palate length. Flavours of peach, toasted oak, yeast lees and butterscotch fill the palate with just a hint of citrus which continues into the aftertaste.
