The bureaucrats would love the front label of this wine, and to be frank we’re surprised that it has even been allowed to be released. What’s so offensive you might ask? Certainly not the image of the cricket player, but rather the total absence of mandatory information – absolutely nothing appears until you spin the bottle and examine the back label. We would not be surprised to see a recall. However, the wine itself is excellent. Very deep crimson black colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose of confectionary, spice, blackcurrant and spice with a whiff of truffle as an end note. Fine dry tannins, excellent balance with long flavour profile of confectionary, blackcurrant, mocca and spice.
