It boasts an opaque purple color in addition to a tremendously rich bouquet of melted licorice intermixed with scents of camphor, blackberry liqueur, and new saddle leather. Massive and full-bodied, yet impeccably well-balanced, this enormous 2001 should provide riveting drinking for 15+ years.
