2001 Irvine Spring Hill Merlot

Bright crimson brick red colour. Medium body. Stewed fruit nose. Hints of truffle, tea leaf and leather. On the palate, flavours of spice, mulberry and liquorice can be found followed by fine grained dry tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit, tea leaf and mulberry with dry tannins persisting.
