Very deep crimson mauve colour with crimson hue. Aroma of spice, black pepper and plum showing good varietal character. Very good palate length with flavours of ripe plum and spice followed by a spicy black pepper plum back palate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, plum, chocolate and spice.
