2001 Henschke Henry's Seven Shiraz Grenache Viognier

A superb blend, made by Steven Henschke. Blended from 70% Shiraz, 25% Grenache and 5% Viognier. Brilliant crimson mauve purple colour. Medium body. Superb lifted nose with wonderful raspberry top note followed by liquorice, spice and blackpepper. Mouthfilling palate flavours with liquorice, ripe raspberry and spice emerging. Excellent weight, fine grained soft tannins, followed by a very long liquorice spice aftertaste.
