2001 Harewood Estate Chardonnay

This vineyard is owned by Keith and Margaret Graham. Bright pale gold colour, showing a hint of bottle development. Aroma of French oak and yeast lees followed by a hint of butterscotch, biscuit and cashew. Creamy textured palate. Flavours of citrus and grapefruit emerge over a background of yeast lees, cashew and biscuit. Subtle oak. Crisp acid finish followed by a long biscuit, citrus and lees aftertaste.
