2001 Hardys Vintage Port

Hardys have consistently produced great Vintage Ports that have a history of maturing superbly.

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose is restrained at first, but will continue to evolve over the years. Top note of marzipan, followed by a hint of vanilla, fine old brandy and concentrated blackberry. The palate is driven by a very fine brandy backbone, with flavours of blackberry and marzipan re-emerging. Dry finish. Very long, warming, fine old brandy aftertaste.
