This wine is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of cedar, cigar box and blackcurrant with slightly toasted oak end notes. The palate displays ripe blackcurrant flavours followed by liquorice and cedar, with a hint of dark chocolate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, cedar and toasted oak.

First tasted, March 2006:
This wine is composed of a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec. Very deep black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose of violets, cedar, blackcurrant and spice. The palate has impressive weight and plenty of Cabernet flavour with no signs of any green or vegetative characteristics. Flavours of blackcurrant and cedar are followed by spice and violet infusions. Very fine grained tannins, with very long aftertaste. An excellent example.
