Fruit for the Meshach Shiraz is sourced from the Grant Burge Filsell Vineyard, where the vines are almost 100 years old, with small amounts also sourced from other old vine vineyards in the Barossa. Matured in a combination of American oak (83%) and French oak (17%) for a period of 21 months, the wine was then aged for a further two and half years before release.

A magnificent red. Opaque deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose of cedar, vanilla, spice and dark chocolate. The palate has a multi-layered quality that is only found in great wines and in the end that is what one pays the ‘big bucks’ for. Mouthfilling, explosive palate flavours of liquorice allsorts, cedar, spice, vanilla and chocolate. Outstanding length, depth, power and elegance combined. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance. Long aftertaste of spice, confectionery, vanilla, chocolate and plum.
