2001 Golders Pinot Noir

Translucent crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. There is a touch of game, followed by spice, strawberry, cherry and raspberry. The wine still looks youthful with no sign of brick red emerging. The palate has moderate length, with flavours of cherry and spice evident. Slightly dry tannins, with the acidity softening. Raspberry, spice aftertaste.

First Tasted: December 2003
Light mauve crimson mauve colour. Aroma of spice, plum, strawberry and strawberry jam. The palate is straightforward with flavours of violet infusions, cherry and strawberry spice emerging, but quite subtle. Soft tannins. Strawberry, cherry aftertaste.
