2001 Gilberts Shiraz

A big generous Shiraz filled with an abundance of ripe plum and stewed fruit flavours. Very deep black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Aroma of toasted oak, plum, spice and vanilla, followed by dark chocolate end notes. The palate has excellent palate weight and is perfectly balanced. Flavours of charry oak are meshed by layers of plum and stewed fruit. Fine grained tannins, followed by an aftertaste of charry oak, plum, spice and stewed fruit.
