2001 Forrest Estate Marlborough Pinot Noir

A well made Pinot, but without great power. Deep crimson colour, with mauve hue. Aroma of dark cherry, spice, game and just a hint of earth. The palate has good body weight, with flavours of spice, toasted oak and plum emerging. Soft tannins, with an aftertaste of liquorice, plum and spice.
