This wine is made by Gary Farr’s son Nick and it’s very apparent that the lad has learnt his lessons well from the cantankerous master!
Medium bodied, bright crimson colour with mauve hue (excellent colour extraction for Pinot). On the nose, the earthy/game top note dominates and finds itself carried through the entire structure of the wine. Mouthfilling palate with cherry, earth and spice flavours dominant. Velvet smooth tannins, excellent balance, followed by a very long and pronounced earth, cherry and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 2-3 years (2005-2006)
Alc/Vol: 13.5%
