2001 Evans & Tate Gnangara Cabernet Sauvignon

A commercial style. Very deep crimson, brick red colour, with mauve crimson hue. The nose has a good lifted quality, with spice, blackcurrant and a leather note evident. The palate displays flavours of stewed fruit, spice and blackcurrant over a spicy warm finish. Fine dry tannin, followed by a long aftertaste of stewed fruit and sour cherry with dry tannins persisting. Cellar 1-2 years (2003-2004) Alc/Vol 13.5%
