2001 Diamond Valley Vineyard Pinot Noir

Diamond Valley Pinot Noir has been the recipient of many awards and is regarded as one of Australia’s leading Pinot producers.
Translucent, bright crimson mauve colour. Strong varietal nose of earth, game, strawberry, spice and cherry followed by a spicy end note. The palate exhibits a strong Pinot power wave and delivers plenty of flavour with spice, liquorice, strawberry and subtle oak all evident. The wine still has much to offer, but you’ll have to wait. The tannins are a touch firm but no cause for worry as there is plenty of supporting fruit. Very long aftertaste of spice, cherry and strawberry.
