2001 Devil's Lair Fifth Leg Semillon Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour. The nose is dominated by the Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Grassy, herbaceous notes over a tropical fruit and spice background. On the palate, the Chardonnay flavours are swamped by the grassy herbaceous flavours which are followed by an unripe gooseberry background. Crisp and fresh, followed by an unripe gooseberry grassy aftertaste.
