2001 Cockfighters Ghost Merlot

This wine has spent 15 months in French and American oak. Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson hue. The nose displays a top note of spice, plum and stewed fruit, followed by hints of mulberry and violets. On the palate flavours of plum, stewed fruit and cedar emerge over a spicy back palate. Firm finish dry tannins which linger onto the aftertaste with a stewed fruit after flavour.
