2001 Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier

A superb, complex wine that has a 7% Viognier component and has been fermented with a proportion of whole bunches, adding fruit complexity. Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of dark chocolate, spice, dark cherry and cherry ripe, with a hint of white pepper as an end note. On the palate, a good deal of complexity is evident, with flavour of dark cherry, dark chocolate, spice, white pepper and cedar.
