2001 Chateau Lepine Saint Croix du Mont

Since arriving in Australia, and after a short rest, this wine has improved considerably. Brilliant pale gold colour with straw hue. The nose has developed, revealing honeyed honeycomb, apricot and tropical fruit top notes. The palate has filled out, showing excellent weight and mouthfeel. Flavours of honey, spice and apricot emerge. Clean finish. Long aftertaste of honey, spice, apricot and tropical fruit.
