The French winemaking influence is apparent with this wine. There is a very good flavour profile whilst at the same time being refined. Very deep crimson mauve colour, with mauve hue. Aroma of spiced plum and stewed fruit followed by liquorice allsorts and violets. Excellent elegant palate flavours of spice, plum and whitepepper followed by stewed fruit and liquorice allsorts with a spicy confectionary background. Very good length with spicy plum confectionary aftertaste.
