2001 Chandon Vintage Brut

This is the vintage Sparkling wine produced by Chandon from about 40 base wines, which has been sourced from around Australia. Blended from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes, the wine has spent three years on lees. Excellent creamy mousse, with very fine bead showing very good persistence. The base wine is straw coloured. Aroma of biscuit and yeast lees, full bodied with creamy texture. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of biscuit, honeysuckle and yeast lees.
