2001 Cape D'Estaing Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in new and one year old French and American oak. Opaque black crimson colour with deep purple hue. Perfumed nose of spice, cedar, blackcurrant, liquorice and vanilla. The palate is mouthfilling with flavours of dark chocolate, blackcurrant, liquorice and cedar emerging. Outstanding length. Fine grained dry tannins, followed by a very long blackcurrant, cedar and liquorice aftertaste.
