The wine seems to be developing faster than one would expect, showing crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. Perfumed lift on the nose, with aroma of cedar, stewed fruit, plum and confectionary. The palate flavours reflect the wines colour and show that the wine is developing well. The classical Durif intenseness has gone. Flavours of plum, spice, vanilla and confectionary are evident and are followed by an emerging leather flavour. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of new leather, stewed fruit, confectionary and cedar.
