A very good example of cool climate Merlot. Very deep crimson mauve colour. Aroma of blackcurrant, mulberry and violets - quite perfumed. On the palate flavours of ripe plum and mulberry are present - a wine with excellent fruit driven flavours. Fine grained soft tannins followed by a long mulberry and spice aftertaste.
