2001 Bethany Cabernet Merlot

Deep brick red colour, with brick red hue, showing early bottle development. Aroma of leather and truffle followed by end notes of earth and stewed fruit. New leather, spice and stewed fruit flavours are followed by back palate flavours of liquorice allsorts, confectionary and spice. Fine, dry, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of stewed plum, spice, leather and earth.
