2001 Best's Great Western Merlot

Bright brick red colour with crimson brick red hue. Medium body. Aroma of mulberry, violets and spice, followed by a hint of liquorice. The palate reveals flavours of mulberry and spice, followed by a hint of annise and cedar. Fine, soft tannins, perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of plum, spice, mulberry and liquorice.
