2001 Bellarine Estate James Paddock Chardonnay

This wine has been entirely fermented in French and American oak. Bright pale gold colour. Lifted nose of butterscotch, yeast lees with the butterscotch component being very evident. The palate has some toasted almond flavours over yeast lees, cinnamon, spice and butterscotch. Very good palate length. Soft acid finish with very long aftertaste of spice and cinnamon.
