2001 Balnaves Coonawarra The Blend Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Cabernet Franc Petit Verdot

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of blackcurrant, cedar and cassis, with hints of truffle. The palate is dominated by fine, but very dry tannins which ride all the way through to the aftertaste. Flavours of blackcurrant, cedar, spice and liquorice emerge. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, spice and confectionary.
