2001 Ainsworth Estate Chardonnay

Bright pale gold colour with straw hue. Aroma of butterscotch, yeast lees and cashew, followed by toast and honey. Creamy palate texture, however the fruit is drying out and fading. Some honey, yeast lees and butterscotch flavours emerge. The acidity is fading away. Aftertaste of honey, yeast lees and toast.
