2001 Abbey Rock Shiraz
Winemaker Les Sampson has produced a relatively light weight Shiraz displaying a crimson mauve colour. The nose is youthful with inky blackberry and raspberry notes followed by a touch of black pepper. The palate flavours are simple with stewed fruit evident. Fine grained tannins followed by a stewed fruit aftertaste.

Deep crimson colour yet quite translucent. Aroma of spice and plum emerging, followed by a hint of leather and raspberry. The palate flavours are straightforward with spice and plum dominant with a hint of stewed fruit. Soft tannins, followed by an aftertaste of spice and stewed fruit.
