Matured in a combination of French and American barriques for up to 18 months the colour of this wine is holding up exceptionally well displaying an inky black dark red core with a very dark red black tinged hue. The nose displays excellent aromatics with lifted ripe blackcurrant scents still dominate followed by some leather, light cedary cigar box, earth and spice notes. Rich and alive with an abundance of blackcurrant fruit that hits the sweet spot followed by nuances of mulberry that are overlaid by leather, cedary cigar box, earth and spice. Supple mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, leather, cedary cigar box, earth and spice. Very Limited Stocks.
