2000 Penfolds Reserve Bin Botrytis Riesling (375ml)

An outstanding example of Botrytis Riesling, made very much in the German Beerenauslese style. The late dry Autumn conditions were conducive for the production of Botrytis Riesling. Bright golden colour with pale gold hue. Excellent nose with lifted notes of lemon, honey and spice overlaid by apricot. The palate is rich and luscious with mouthfilling flavours of honeyed lemons, ripe pineapple and stewed apricots. Exceptionally long palate with clean acid finish and a lingering aftertaste of honey, lemons and raisins.
