2000 Henschke Keyneton Estate Shiraz Cabernet Merlot

A refined blend. Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Superb nose. Cedar, spice mocha and dark chocolate, followed by earth liquorice end notes. The palate has that sense of sophistication and depth of flavour without being ‘bulky’. Flavours of cedar, white pepper, liquorice, plum and stewed fruit emerge followed by a blackpepper back palate. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance, with a very long aftertaste of cedar, stewed plums and white pepper.
