1999 Yering Station Pinot Noir

Light weight with brick red, crimson colour. The nose displays some jammy strawberry aroma over hints of stewed fruit and toasted oak, which remains quite dominant. The wine has good weight and mouthfeel with cherry, plum and strawberry fruit flavours too the forefront, followed by liquorice and toasted oak in the background. Warm back palate, followed by an aftertaste of spicy oak and pepper. Cellar 2-3 years.
