1999 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Shiraz Merlot

Very deep crimson colour. Distinct aroma of chocolate, mocha, spice, blackcurrant, plum and vanilla. Whilst the palate remains tight, it also displays some very good structure for cellaring. Flavours of stewed fruit, plum, liquorice and blackcurrant over a minty background. Fine grained tannins, followed by a long blackcurrant, spice and pepper aftertaste. Cellar 4 – 5 years. (2005 – 2006)
