Very deep crimson red colour, with brick red hues. The nose is restrained, with aroma of liquorice and toasted oak emerging as top notes. On the palate ripe blackberry, sweet plum flavours emerge with a spicy background. Fine grained firmish tannins, but well balanced over a firmish dry lingering, plum and stewed fruit aftertaste.
Cellar 3 – 4 years.

Very deep crimson colour, with crimson hue. Aroma of spice, earth and truffle, followed by an underlay of leather, vanilla and blackberry. The palate displays flavours of vanilla and spice, with dark chocolate, leather and earth on the backpalate, however, the wine lacks depth and concentration, with the earthy character being too dominant. Fine grained dry tannins, followed by an aftertaste of plum, dark chocolate, earth and truffle.
Cellar 2-3 years. (2003-2004)
