- Closure: Cork
Tasted: February 2001
Made from a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 38% Shiraz. Medium body, crimson colour. Appealing nose showing the complexity of the blend. Aroma of spice, cedar and blackcurrant followed by a hint of liquorice and vanilla end notes. On the palate, there is elegance of structure with earthy, spice, flavours emerging over a liquorice and cedar background. Fine grained soft tannins, excellent balance, followed by a cedar spice aftertaste. A soft early drinking wine. Cellar 2-3 years.
Retasted: October 2001
Medium body, crimson, brick red colour. Aroma of mint and blackcurrant. The palate structure is relatively light. The wine shows little depth or complexity followed by fine firmish tannins.
