Tasted: February 2001

Made from a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 38% Shiraz. Medium body, crimson colour. Appealing nose showing the complexity of the blend. Aroma of spice, cedar and blackcurrant followed by a hint of liquorice and vanilla end notes. On the palate, there is elegance of structure with earthy, spice, flavours emerging over a liquorice and cedar background. Fine grained soft tannins, excellent balance, followed by a cedar spice aftertaste. A soft early drinking wine. Cellar 2-3 years.
