A very well made Cabernet that needs time to blossom. Very deep crimson mauve colour. The nose is distinctly Cabernet with its aroma of blackcurrant and cedar followed by an earthy end note. Tight knit palate with mouthfilling flavours of spice, blackcurrant, dark chocolate and liquorice. The palate is still very youthful and displays flavours of blackcurrant over blackpepper. Fine grained, firmish tannins, followed by a long blackcurrant spice aftertaste. Cellar 5-6 years.
