This is the second label from Salitage. Bright, crimson, brick red colour, medium body. Subtle Pinot nose with strawberry, raspberry aroma with hints of cherry, liquorice and just a touch of game. Good palate weight and varietal flavours, with cherry, spice dominant. Fine grained soft tannins with aftertaste of stewed fruits and cherry. A fuller style Pinot with varietal character, but without power. Cellar 2-3 years.
