An aromatic, yet restrained nose. Bright, straw colour. Aroma of tropical fruit, quince and spice. On the palate there is good weight and mouthfeel, with flavours of tropical fruit, unripe pineapple and quince. A drier style than that from commercial producers and more suited to Japanese food. Clean crisp acidity, followed by citrus aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
