1999 Tarrawarra Pinot Noir

Yarra Valley, Victoria, AUSTRALIA
$37. 99
Bottle
$455.88 Dozen
Closure: Cork

A brooding Pinot Noir that will develop magnificently with bottle age. The colour is excellent for Pinot Noir, which is in part due to the ‘cold bath’ technique that has been used to extract maximum colour - very deep crimson. Aromas of toasted oak and spice – with overtones of earth, game, liquorice and cherry. The palate has excellent body weight by Pinot Noir standards. It is ‘big’ and filled with flavours of cherry and spice which display excellent length and persistence. The flavour wave is beginning to build and will evolve into a wine of great complexity. Fine grained tannins with very long aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
