An example of a full bodied wine, with plenty of weight, but no sophistication of flavour.Medium to deep crimson colour. Aroma of ripe blackberries, plums, liquorice and chocolate. Full bodied, with flavour of ripe plum, stewed fruit and blackberries over a tarry plum end palate. A clunk! Good value, ‘all brawn and no brains’. Cellar 2-3 years.
