An impressive red from a very good year. The Cabernet component has had added to it 11% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc. Bright crimson colour. Medium body, with aroma of violets, blackcurrant and spice. An impressive start! Mouthfilling palate, with flavours of spice, blackcurrant and chocolate. Fine grained, perfectly balanced tannins, followed by an exceptionally long blackcurrant and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2005-2006).
